1) Roma will pay up to 1 million for Maitland-Niles for his 6 month loan

It is hardly going to come as a surprise to Arsenal fans that Ainsley Maitland-Niles has moved to join Jose Mourinho at Roma, with his contract being registered this morning, according to Football Italia.

2) Arsenal contract rebel wanted by Brighton and Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace have reportedly jumped ahead of Albion in the running for Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah.

In the build-up to the transfer window Albion were heavily linked with a move for the Gunners striker as his contract is set to expire at the end of the season and therefore could be an affordable option.

3) Middlesbrough confident over Folarin Balogun loan

Middlesbrough are confident they will win the race for Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun.

A number of Championship clubs, and some sides from abroad, have expressed an interest in signing Balogun on loan and Arsenal have agreed to let him leave.

4) Patino says Arsenal have a player in the ranks he really looks up to

Arsenal youngster Charlie Patino has been talking about some of his Gunners teammates and has admitted that Martin Odegaard is helping him out massively.

Patino has burst onto the scene in recent months and is expected to play this weekend against Nottingham Forest. The teenager is highly-rated at Arsenal, and Mikel Arteta is expecting big things from the teenager.

5) Arsenal ‘rival’ Everton for £38m-rated midfielder

The Gunners have been linked with a number of players this month as they look to boost their chances of a top four finish this season.

However, Arsenal are thought to be already looking ahead to the summer with a move for Lyon midfielder Bruno Guimaraes on the cards.

6) Barcelona barge into Arsenal transfer battle by identifying next top target

Renato Sanches has become a priority target for Barcelona in a blow to any hopes Arsenal have of landing the Lille midfielder, according to reports.

Sanches has done well to rebuild his career following difficult stints with Bayern Munich and Swansea City. The Portuguese talent joined Lille in 2019 and lifted the Ligue 1 title with them last season.

Still only 24 years old, he could be ready for another attempt at a big transfer. Arsenal are reportedly willing to give him a second chance in the Premier League.

7) Arsenal Coutinho links finally end with Aston Villa transfer

Arsenal fans can rest easy today as the links with Philippe Coutinho are finally set to end with the player signing for former teammate, Steven Gerrard, and Aston Villa.

Aston Villa have pulled off a stunning deal to land Philippe Coutinho on loan from Barcelona but Arsenal fans across the globe will be relieved that the club will finally stop being linked with him.

8) Arsenal urged to sign Alexander Isak

Kevin Campbell has claimed that Alexander Isak would be the ‘perfect’ signing for Arsenal.

The Gunners have been strongly linked with a number of different attacking options in recent windows, but are yet to bring in a new striker since Arsene Wenger left.

That looks set to change in the near future however with two of their three senior options out of contract this summer, while Auba has been frozen out of the side in recent weeks.

9) Arsenal have a strong chance to sign Dusan Vlahovic

Arsenal are the best placed Premier League side ahead of Tottenham and Newcastle when it comes to the race to sign Dusan Vlahovic from Fiorentina this month.

The Serbian striker is one of the hottest properties in Europe. Arsenal, Tottenham, Newcastle, Manchester City and Italian side Juventus, are all known to have watched the goal-getter. However, according to The Athletic, it is the Gunners who are best placed in England to land Vlahovic.
