  1. Thank you for reacting to Citizen Queen. They are amazing. I hope that you will react to more of their music. One, of many, thing I love about this talented band of ladies is that they can sing and harmonize on the fly. Sometimes during IG livestreams someone will suggest a song and they can just sing it while harmonizing perfectly. It doesn't have to be one of their songs, just a random song a fan requested.

  2. Roberta Flack originally did this song by the way. These ladies are good, Their version of "Never Enough" is great as is their first outing "Evolution of Girl bands". love Citizen Queen.

  3. I love all CQ's songs but my 2 favorites are Never Enough and Bad Guy, complete contrast from each other but that shows their diversity. Glad you like them Lee.

  4. In an all-female group, you just give the bass line to the lowest alto, and push the high parts up into the top half of the treble clef (which is no problem to reach, because you have sopranos, and they can hit F5 without even using falsetto; some of them can hit F6). It works fine, as long as you aren't trying to do something bone-rattling and impressively manly (which most male singers can't really pull off either, frankly: it needs a basso profondo to do that trick, and they're not especially common).

Not that there aren't advantages to having a mixed male/female group. There are, of course. But it's not necessary for every group. And you can always do a collab to pull in talent you don't have if you need it for a specific song. Doing collabs has benefits of its own anyway (cross-pollinating fan groups), so it's not a bad thing to do one now and then. VoicePlay has used collabs to pull in female talent for specific songs on a couple of occasions.

  5. Killing Me Softly was originally sung by Roberta Flack. This fuses both versions of her original soul and Fuji's funk. Love it Great reaction…kudos to Scott 😎

  6. So glad you liked. I love listening to them sing. I never knew a girl could beat box until this group, don't know why I thought that but had only seen guys do it. Can't wait to request more for you to react to
