1) Barcelona and Lyon in battle for Arsenal star Alexandre Lacazette

Barcelona and Lyon are set to fight it out for Arsenal star Alexandre Lacazette.

Lacazette is going to be out of contract this summer, with no extended deal agreed with Arsenal as it stands.

2) Arsenal outgoing transfer being lined up – Meetings between club and agent ‘becoming more and more frequent’

The longer Lucas Torreira stays at Fiorentina, the Italian media gets more confident that La Viola will sign him from Arsenal on a permanent deal.

The latest update on this subject comes from Calcio Mercato, who points out that talks are ongoing for his long-term stay at the Serie A side.

3) Mikel Arteta suggests that Elneny is not in a good place right now

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has expressed his concerns over Mohamed Elneny following the international break.

The Gunners midfielder has suffered two instances of international heartbreak in quick succession.

Elneny started every game for Egypt in the Africa Cup of Nations and got his nation to the final.

4) Arsenal target Marco Asensio will probably be available in the market this summer

Earlier this week,news from Spain suggested that Real Madrid are aware of Arsenal’s interest in Marco Asensio.

It was also explained the La Liga side have ‘no problem’ to make the forward available for a sale in the summer if he refuses to sign an extension.

5) Arsenal target Houssem Aouar will be available this summer

Arsenal have looked at Houssem Aouar in the past and despite showing an interest, the north London club were then unwilling to meet the demands set by Lyon to carry out the signing.

On March 16th, Calciomercato reported the 23-year-old will leave the Ligue 1 side after this season. It was also stated his future could either be in England or Italy, where the Gunners and Inter Milan respectively are named as his suitors.

6) Villa and Arsenal target Coutinho not interested in Newcastle move

Aston Villa and Arsenal have received a boost in their pursuit of Philippe Coutinho, with Mundo Deportivo reporting that the Brazilian does not want to join Newcastle United this summer.

Coutinho is attracting attention from a host of Premier League clubs this summer. It comes with the 29-year-old enjoying an amazing loan spell with the Villans. He has reestablished himself as a superstar.

7) Arsenal to face a heavy competition for the signing of Darwin Nunez

It’s been a week since Arsenal’s interest in Benfica striker Darwin Nunez started making noise in the European media. First with the English and then with the Portuguese media reporting it, the Gunners are now considered one of the big candidates to land the player this summer.

Now as newspaper A Bola features a piece presenting all the clubs who’ve been interested in the 22-year-old, Mikel Arteta’s side once again features in that list.
